📣 Important Update Regarding the Oyster & Pig Roast

We were recently informed by the State Military Reservation (formerly Camp Pendleton) that, due to security concerns, we will not be able to hold our Oyster & Pig Roast at that location this year. While this was an unexpected change, our team moved quickly and is pleased to share that we have secured a fantastic new venue:

It’s the same great party, just in a new location — and yes, tents are welcome. More details will follow soon as we finalize logistics.

For more than 50 years, this iconic event has been a highlight of the Virginia Beach spring season. YSC is a 100% volunteer organization, and all proceeds go to charities benefitting children in Virginia Brach.

Enjoy live music from Wonderland, and The Skip Castro Band. Feast on pulled pork BBQ cooked on site, fresh oysters and a seafood boil, BBQ chicken, hamburgers, hot dogs, chili, our world-famous clam chowder, and of course beer wine and cocktails are included in the price!

Tickets are $75.00*

Tickets purchased after 4/15/ 2025 are $80.00*.

NO ONE UNDER 21 YEARS OF AGE – THAT INCLUDES BABIES. There will be a 100% ID check to enter State Military Reservation. All party attendees will have to present a valid REAL ID or another federally approved form of ID (i.e. CAC, passport, military retirement card, etc.) to attend the Base. 

Tickets are non-refundable. The party will go on rain or shine. NO ANIMALS OR SMALL CHILDREN PERMITTED AT THE EVENT.
